About Us
Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters operates out of Central Saskatchewan, Canada, which is located about 350 miles north of the Dakotas. Saskatoon has a population of approximately 200,000 people and is a great town with plenty to do.
SWO is owned and operated by Michael Holman and Don McCrea. They met on a hunt in Canada and immediately became good friends due to their same waterfowl ethics. After some discussion they decided they wanted to share their hunting experiences and vast waterfowl knowledge of the great north with other hunters.
With a lot of research and a little luck, they met veteran waterfowler Ron Berry. With Ron Berry’s 40 plus years of waterfowl experience, combined with Michael and Don’s enthusiasm toward hunting waterfowl, 
they were able to come to an agreement to transfer ownership of the Ron’s Outfitters license to them. With Ron spending his whole life in and around Saskatoon and Don being a local resident, they have come to know the majority of landowners, farmers, and business owners in the hunting area.
Michael’s waterfowl hunting experience stems from the northern parts of Canada to the southern most points of the United States. Michael has hunted in some of the most strenuous conditions imaginable. From the bitter cold of Canada to beating rays of the Texas sun, Michael has always found a way to have a successful hunt.
Michael and Don will go to great lengths to ensure your hunting experience in Canada is an amazing adventure. SWO strives to make every hunter in the field invisible to the birds and strategically place spreads of decoys that are inviting to even the most sceptical flights of birds.
Come experience greater Canada geese decoying to within 20 yards of the barrel of your gun and some of the most unbelievable duck hunting North America has to offer.
