Normal Day with SWO

On a normal day with SWO, we will pick you up around 4:00am depending on the type of field we will be hunting. We will have coffee and a light breakfast such as muffins or pastries.

When we get to the morning hunting area we will brush the blinds with stubble found in the field to get the best concealment possible. Then we will put out the decoy spread with great detail to draw in the largest population of birds imaginable.

We ask that setting up be a group effort to ensure we can attract the first flights of birds. SWO has such great success because everyone is working together and we are able to get some of the finest setups ever seen.

We will finish with our morning shoot around 10:30am depending on the fight of birds we have. We will get back into Saskatoon and have lunch and perhaps a short nap before the afternoon duck hunt.

In the afternoon, you will get picked up about 3:00pm depending on the type of duck shoot you will be doing. Once we get set up for your duck hunt you will need to get prepared to see ducks like never before. We will hunt until legal shooting time or until we reach our limit. When we get back into town you will have dinner and then you'll need to get plenty of rest for the next day's adventure..
