In the Open Pace, Thinkbig Dreambig came roaring away from the gate and was on the muscle as Jim Devaux wrangled him off the bit a tad after a brisk opening stanza of 27.2.  He was still on top in 57 with Air Guitar in the garden spot, as Trevor One (M. Merton) were the first to come first over past the half.  The pack were 4 wide going in the paddock turn with Foo Fighter on the extreme outside, Thinkbig Dreambig was still showing the way, but late in the lane Air Guitar used to rail to get past the leader in 1:54 – $7.20.  For Air Guitar it was his fourth win on the year for trainer Mark Ford.
